How to style your Edifice
A statement watch is an essential accessory in my view in pulling off a complete styled look. Edifice watches are the perfect blend of style, tech savvy and practical making the perfect companion for any dress up occasion.
You can style your Edifice in an endless variety of ways. Recently I styled two pieces, EFVC100L-1A and EQB800BL-1A each with two different outfits for Spring Racing carnival in collaboration with Gibson Clothing.
For the first look with the EFVC100L-1A I paired a camel suit with white shirt and green pocket square and pink/aqua tie. Whilst not an obvious choice for some the EFVC100L-1A appears from a distance as mainly black and silver in colour, making it a perfect contrast with the camel suit. The red highlights of the watch compliment, rather than clash with the pink in the tie.
The second look I styled with EFVC100L-1A was a navy double breasted suit with blue and pink striped shirt and tie and blue floral pocket square. The black band and overall black and silver appearance compliment the suit colour well. The red highlights also work well with the pink in the shirt.
For the first look with the EQB800BL-1A I paired it with a Darby Day combination of dark grey suit, light grey waistcoat, white shirt with silver and grey tie and black patterned pocket square. The black band of the watch matches in with the black buttons of the suit and black in the pocket square. The touch of red adds some subtle contrast to the look which is a welcome addition to this monochrome style.
For the second look with the EQB800BL-1A (which is so cool as it is solar powered) I went for more of a casual racing day style with an open neck floral patterned shirt, navy blazer, complimentary pocket square and olive chino with slip on loafers. Here the watch plays as a standout piece contrasting with the other elements. This is more of a bold statement which is not for everyone but we are all here to be different if you ask me.
Overall, I reckon a high quality watch can take a good styled look to the next level and that’s just what the EQB800BL-1A and EFVC100L-1A do for these four Spring Racing looks.
